Cocktail 2: Azure Blue

The ‘Azure Blue’ cocktail is collaged on a vintage music sheet from a score titled ‘Sea Pieces’ by Edward Mac Dowell. The collage includes elements that may be part of a fun trip to the seaside.. a convertible car, a fabulous fish and wild flowers.

The stirrer includes a whelk shell and the index lines from a map. The ornate glass is a combination of the classic martini glass and an ornate carving.The collage around the edge incudes details on the ‘Sea Breeze’, definitions of the sea and dictionary fragments about mixing, cocktail, ingredients and the colour azure.
