‘Love Hannah’
Inspired by the places, films, people and things loved by Hannah (Fiona’s daughter), …a very special commissioned present for her 40th birthday!
The style…
Hannah’s piece will be created in a similar style to ‘Love Oxford’ with sketches, text and images relating to Hannah. The colour palette can include particular colours to tie in to the palette of the wall where the piece will live!

A place to start, the list is the first port of call. Simply, it is a collection of words, things, people, places, ideas colours and text that spring to mind when thinking of Hannah. Here’s the list so far..

Colour Collages:
Selected images are cut and edited, first stage of images sourced before adding to the piece itself. Colours and shapes may change and some will not be used at all but I wanted to post these to give an idea of the content so far. Sketches are also in progress and these will be uploaded once done.

This is the palette chosen for Hannah’s piece, the bright love hearts style with the addition of a few herb and garden colours and of course… Vegemite yellow!
Some colours are used in small amounts and this doesn’t cover all hues that will be used but hopefully gives an idea..

Comments/ questions:

Edits: So we had a chat and decided to add a few more sketches, go for purple as main complementary and add a couple more parrots. Below is the edited version with additions.

The image right includes additional images and edits. I included some blue as it looked great behind the aeroplane and balances the palette. I have left out names/initials as yet as if we put them in I think we should include all family members.. let me know what you think Fiona!
Have a good look and let e know any further comments or edits. I will sleep on it tonight and have another look at it tomorrow and do final changes. Allowing time for it ‘to cook’ over the weekend If we can get approval on Sunday I will order the print first thing on Monday and frame it Tuesday.
