The Love Kritters

Ancient yet modern, colourful yet dark, cute yet cultish. Kritters are a unique iconography that unifies humanity in our shared love of nature offset against our desires.

This collection was inspired by Egyptian icons, vintage votives, myths and memories.

Heart-shaped ‘Milagros’ surround the creature at the heart of the art, these symbolise protection and, ultimately, love.

The imagery references shapes and pictures that transcend religion and unify humanity. Imagery hints at our ingenuity with a reference our deep seated obsessions. The result is a contemporary, vibrant, eclectic artwork, an affirmation of human creativity and positivity offset with a dynamic energy between contrasting emotions.

The series incorporates many of the amazing animals that live alongside us in our wonderful world as well as some that are very rare and others extinct.

Every Artwork is totally unique and embellished with paint, pencil and inks. Some include gold leaf detailing.
