A favourite piece, originally inspired by hallmarks and 3 Snakes-head Fritillary flowers I bought from Petersham Nurseries, a gorgeous haven in Richmond. I placed the 3 plants in front of my notice board to paint them and used vintage envelopes to create the notes behind the leaves
The flowers are created using the inside patterns of vintage envelopes. I love the idea of envelopes containing love and special memories in the same way a bud opens to reveal a flower.. Spring has started once the first fritillaries arrive and I saw some today!
